When do I die?

According to the site Find Your Fate, I'm going to die in 2049.

Despite their lovely questionnaire I think they have this wrong. I can't see my bod lasting much beyond 2022. If I do make it to 2049 it'll be a miserable existence. Too much stuff is breaking down now for me to have much left when I'm in my late 80s!

Right now I'm having some problems with an eye infection, my shoulder hurts, and both knees ache in the cold. And then there's that IBS stuff. This isn't the body of someone that'll nearly make it to 90.

According to the site:

Supposedly I have 15,335 days, 1 hour and 18 minutes left. Give or take a bit.

How long did the site give you to live--and do you want to stretch it out that far?

I got 2058. Which would make me 91 when I cross over.

Thats ok, I plan on living for a long time.

My date is Oct. 1, 2043. I would be 83. That sounds about right. Anything longer than that would be out staying my welcome.

Mine turned out to be Feb 24, 2056.

So, it makes me to live till I'm 85 years old. not too bad! I'm impressed.

I am apparently going to die on march 15 2065, which will take me well into my 90's! I dunno if I want to live that long. I'd like to go before my body falls apart. :o)

It seems like this site is very optimistic. It has pretty much everyone living well beyond the statistical average. Odd though that Naomi, the only person that's commented so far that is older than that average age, didn't have a date for her. I detect a sour note of agism there!

July 23, 2031 for me - 8843 days.

That will make me 90! I only want to live that long if I can retain my mind and the use of my body.

84? I doubt that seriously.
Besides, last week's USA Today said that the typical life span for someone with a serious mental illness was 51. And Lana Kaufman's Ouji Board told me I'd live to be 60 when I was in 6th grade. Who do I believe?

Also, I'm snitching on you to Mark Parisi.

Hi Utenzi..my armageddon day is march 2070..that means that I get to live a long life..but all that aint of use if I do not do any significant while I am young.

You are right..I wouldnt want to live too long and burden my kids with an old me to take care of. Haha!

Everyone that reads my palm tells me I have a long life line but the end of the line shows I am weak and bed ridden. Great! Everyone looks forward to lying and wasting away in a nursing home for years on end!

Nitroflex at home

I mentioned a few days ago that I'd purchased off of Craig's List an exercise machine. A Nitroflex, to be more specific, for the grand sum of $75. The boxes you see to the left were bought by the seller as discontinued merchandise over a year ago and stored in his back yard storage shed. You might be able to see some of the bugs and such that had made their homes on these boxes. I left them out on my deck for a few days before opening them to allow the insects to leave gracefully or die in the sun. The picture to the left is the pieces from the box, unboxed, and up in one of my upstairs bedrooms. For the most part it wasn't difficult to move it around though two pieces were heavy and a number of them were kinda long and bulky to be wandering about the house with. Surprisingly, this kit didn't require any extra tools. There were two allen keys and one combo wrench included in the boxes and that was all it took to put it together. ankle update

S ince a few people object to seeing my feet --poor misdirected souls--I have the two pictures below hidden behind links. Behold them at your own risk! *evil laugh* Actually they're not scary though the first one is a little colorful. T he first picture shows my ankle and foot from the side, as labeled. You can see a lot of general edema of the entire foot. There's also a good bit of discoloration of the ankle area and to a lesser degree the top of the foot all the way down to the toes. The side view is a lot worse in this regard than the top view. T he second picture shows the two feet from the top so you can compare the somewhat normal looking right foot to the injured left foot. There's not much abnormal color on this view but you can see the "sausage like" swelling of the left foot. It's this swelling that is causing my main problem--I can't get the foot into my boots and I need the boots to support the ankle. Damn Catch-22. Side view, looking inward ...

Ostrich poop found here

I took these pictures last Fall while visiting the NC Zoo. On the left you can see what appears to be a nice polite ostrich just wandering around. This impression soon turns out to be false when her dowdy tail feathers raise up and reveal a puckered anus. Ewwww! If you look carefully, you can see that she's made a deposit on the ground. More ewwww! Feel free to click on the image to make them bigger. Details can make all the difference in these shots. In other matters, aren't those really bony legs they have? And couldn't they have a little more color?
