Sassy over at that Glittery blog inspired me with her new hair styling. I figured it was time for me to have my overly long locks to be trimmed back too so after work today I had the woman nearly shave my head. Unlike Sassy I didn't have my hair colored tho--and the gray is rapidly taking over. It's a race between thinning hair and what's left changing color on me. Damnedest thing is that I don't win either way. You might notice that I don't look happy. I don't like taking my own picture. The only thing worse is when somebody else takes my picture. At least this way I can toss out most of the pictures and nobody will ever see them!

I got more sleep today than I have in the past 4 days but it really didn't count. What a pisser. My ever present sinus headaches have been more ornery than usual the past few days and last night I wasn't able to sleep at all as a result. I went in to work but was only expecting to be there for a few hours--just getting essential stuff done than I'd go home and mope. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Within a half hour of getting in my sinus headache triggered a migraine and nothing was keeping me at work after that. I have about 40 minutes from first feeling symptoms to get Midrin into me and hide under the covers away from all light. If I can't do that there's consequences! Due to the timing of the bus system here, it took me a bit over an hour to get home and I wasn't happy towards the end. :-( One thing weird about my migraines. The sunrise was really beautiful this morning. The temperature was hovering right at freezing and there was a thick blanket of fog all over. The fog had actually started accumulating the night before--I first noticed it just a little after midnight and it just kept getting denser during the wee hours. I took this picture through my bathroom window looking out into my back yard just before 8am. I finally got a haircut today and the lady that did it apparently went nuts. I'm nearly shaved! Eeeeek. Well, eventually it'll grow back but this time it'll take a while. I'll probably get a picture of it in the next day or two and post it. It's scary! I'm way too white to have my scalp showing through my hair. The glare will no doubt be blinding. I'd been reading two Tom Clancy books and yesterdayI just finished the second one.
