I've not been sleeping well for over a week now. I think it's largely related to work and the issues I was airing out on June 2 here on my blog. Sinus stuff is also contributing but I think it's mostly work. As a result of the lack of sleep, today was a "Bed Day". I didn't go to bed until around 3am Saturday morning and got up at 4:30am but I never gave up. By 1pm I think I had gotten at least 6 hours of sleep by going back to bed at least 4 times.

I feel a lot better though I'm sleepy again. Between taking pictures of bees, flowers, and an occasional ant plus watching the Braves for a while and then seeing the Carolina Hurricanes go down to a close defeat (2-1) in a hard fought and quite engaging hockey game against the Edmonton Oilers I managed to stay awake the rest of the day. Now it's a bit past midnight and I should get back to sleep! Eventually.

I finally finished the last 20 pages of the Misquoting Jesus book I mentioned the other day and now I've started a new book. It's sort of a chick-lit book so I'll let you know if it has any effect on testosterone levels. I don't have all that much to spare so I might have to back off on the book.

The book is titled Tickled Pink and shows some promise. It's a pretty book and I took some pictures of it to demonstrate that, but those will have to wait until tomorrow. I'm going to go to bed to read a bit then go to sleep. More or less.

Since Becky skipped you I thought I would stop by!

It seems like this no sleeping thing must be contagious. Taping shows is a good idea-I do own lots and lots of DVDs (I have obsessive-compulsive-DVD-buying-disorder) to watch, but now I am thinking that replacing infomercials with great hockey games could be fun...

The sleeping stuff is a pain, I know. I hope you can get back to your normal 4 hours!

LOL on the testosterone thing... I'm sure it's not 'that' bad! ;-)

It still amazes me that in my home state of NC, they're playing hockey in June, when the only ice to be found then is in tea! I love the picture at the top of your blog--beautiful. here from Michele's.

Michele sent me to say "Gusuri nemute ne!" (Sleep well and deeply). I laughed at the chick-lit comment too.
