great Mantis picture

Marie, a newspaper photographer living in the mountains of NC, has posted a wonderful picture of a Praying Mantis eating a bug. It's very impressive.

I can't decide which picture is grosser, Utenzi, the mantis or the throat.
Hope you are feeling better. I find that drinking a lot of tea helps.

It is a close call, Carol. I think the mantis wins due to the butterfly guts hanging out but that's just me.

Hi Utenzi! Thanks for stopping by. I personally think the mantis picture is awesome (as are your other bug pics). The throat pics...um. Eww. Hope you get to feeling better.

Here from Michele's. Enjoyed all the pics. Being a nurse you need more than that to gross me out (not a challenge!). Glad you are feeling better.

I have to say it has never occured to me to take a photo of my throat even though I too am suffering from a sore throat. I'm impressed. Maybe tomorrow I will grab hold of my nifty nikon coolpix and shove it down my throat and see what happens. Hey thanx for the link--got lots of fun visitors.
