frost warning

I hate cold weather!

So having frost this morning for the first time this Fall wasn't pleasant to see. No, not at all. Sure, compared to Prego's pictures of a snow filled Buffalo a few days ago this is nothing--but this is happening to ME! Brrrrrr.

The picture above was taken around 7:30am and shows the early light of dawn slowly warming the grass in my backyard. My knees weren't happy bending down that far in the cold. The picture below is of some Lamb's Ear that I have in a side garden. It doesn't like cold either and I suspect it'll all turn brown later today.

Cold, cold go away. Come back some other day--or better yet, stay in Buffalo!

We seem to be having a late start to the autumn here in the UK. There are still a lot of leaves around and temperatures up around 20degrees Centigrade, so its basically warm and sunny.

Not sure where you are in relation to Buffalo, but I'm a tad too close when winter weather starts to kick in. No snow here, but falling below freezing in the evenings.

By the way, Michelle sent me to say 'hello'. Nice site you got here!

I know! Stupid frost killed a bunch of my plants in my front garden...and here we are trying to sell our house! arg.

I guess that I have been using your comment link to get to your page, because when I used my blogroll link yesterday, the most recent post was from March! I was thoroughly confused, so thanks for commenting at my site so I could fix that link! :)

Amen, do you think we can convince Buffalo?

I agree! You know it's cold when your Husky shivers.

Maybe she's just spoiled...

We bought a warm sweater for our little pooch today. I am SOOOO not ready for the cold. I haven't even gotten out the warm woolies yet. As a matter of fact, I haven't truly unpacked from my trip to Maui yet. I'd better get on that! Have a great week.

The only reason I was happy with the frost this morning is so I can finally plant my 120 tulip bulbs!

I just love your banner....beautiful.

Michele sent me today! or tonight I should say.

You should stay in Singapore. It is hot all year round. I mean...really really hot.

We should exchange places. I cant stand the heat here:p

And yet - the cool weather is nice for yardwork. All that raking and seeding we did yesterday would have been unbearable in warmer weather.

Nice pics! You need to grab a book, a cup of tea and snuggle down to read! Nice pictures of hiking on Saturday, also!

It was 37 here this morning!
Frost, what a wonderful dusting!
