men in trees and birds that aren't

I watched the second episode of Men in Trees last night--the new ABC show starring Anne Heche--and liked it a lot better than the debut I saw on Tuesday. I don't know if it's got the legs to last the season but it's getting off to a pretty good start here. The supporting cast, which is slowly being introduced, is interesting and should add enough substance to the show to keep the momentum going.

As a contrast, here's some birds that aren't in trees. They're attacking the seeds on a plant that's just off of my back deck. I took the picture yesterday when I came home after work.

Hope you've been able to kick that cold. I heard about that new series, Men In Trees - hope it makes it to our shores. I guess it's Alaska setting reminds me of Northern Exposure which I loved. Is this as quirky as NE?

I have to ask...why do you have a "Support Denmark Freedom of Speech" icon on your site? Just curious.

Here from Michele!! Have a good weekend!!

What a great photo! Totally captivating. As for men in trees, I've hardly seen any TV, so I hadn't even heard about it...

I debated watching Men In Trees...I finally decided against it, which means it's going to turn out to be super good, and I'll have missed the boat on yet another good show...

Here via Michele's tonight!
