where did he go?

My girlfriend just got back from a week at a conference in Kansas City. I picked her up at the airport late last night and brought her home. Unfortunately her son, who was housesitting, had some bad news. One of her cats, Pippin who I often call "Bad Penny", has been missing for 5 days.

So if you happen to see a orange and white domestic short hair, answering (ha!) to the name Pippin, and looking like the picture on the left just bring him back home. I know my girlfriend will appreciate it--even if I have mixed feelings about the critter.

As you can tell, he likes books so maybe he's hanging around a library or school. We checked the two local animal shelters but no cats matching his description at either. A lot of orange and white shorthairs though--a popular type of cat, I guess.

Since he's very friendly I suspect he's been adopted by some family in the nearby neighborhood, but if so, he's not likely to be out of circulation for long. He hates to stay inside for long--and is quite vocal about it--and is quite the escape artist so walls aren't likely to hold him in as long as a door opens when he's near.

So, Pippin, where are you?

I see Pippin was standing on a Harry Potter book. Maybe Pippin got sent to the cornfield - you're a bad cat, Pippin.

michele sent me, but I don't blame Michele, she's a nice lady, she does good things.

Hmm..I havent seen her around here! I can relate to Pippin. My cat was missing once and I remembered crying for days and got so depressed because of it. Still do..

I love cats.

I hope to save the world of cats.

I truly hope you find Pippin. There's nothing worse than losing your little baby! Other than that, I hope you are having a good weekend.

I hope Pippin finds the way home. (And so does Michele!) We have horrid luck with cats that never find their way home. Good luck to gf!

She hasn't maed it to New Zealand, as far as I know, though our neighbours have a similar looking cat who has a favourite basking spot in our garden. I hope she comes back.

Oh, I'm so sorry about Pippin and sure hope he returns. He's a gorgeous cat. My new neighbor that moved in a few days ago came over recently to let me know her cat is also missing and to keep an eye out for him. Must be that time of year.
Here from Michele's.......

I hope he is found..
Hi Utenzi, Michele sent me today. I love my cat, Baby. If she went missing it would be losing my best friend. If Pipin likes to wander he might be visiting a person who has heaped love upon him. For your girlfriend's sake I hope Pippin returns.
