my tenant

Over to the right you'll notice a small ad for another blog. It's owned by Lonnie B Hodge who's a professor from America that's living in China. The main content is pictures and essays making observations on life in China.

Some posts are of human interest items like the bicycling barber of Beijing. Other posts are political or economic in nature. The variety of areas he's interested in are staggering.

He's posted on Breast Cancer a number of times which is of interest to me since I'm doing science research relating to breast cancer. Here's a profile of one woman who has breast cancer.

This recent post, Bloggers within borders: MY CHINA TOP TEN PICKS, was interesting. Dr. Hodge lists what he thinks are some of the best blogs to learn more about China as it really is, not just politically slanted diatribes.

He's also got a lot of wonderful pictures of various parts of China. Here's a post in which he has a number of pictures taken in Macau. The picture of the ruins of St. Pauls Church is particularly impressive--that's it to the left. These two night shots in Guangzghou are visually amazing.

So wander over there and give the good Professor a try!

Hi from Michele's! I was just here and went to visit your tenant. I had a professor who was an ex-pat in Malaysia and he always had the most facinating stories. So, I'm back to bug you! LOL!

Have a great weekend!

Hi here from Michele's.

Man, you're a nice renter to actually put in a plug for the blog. :) It's a good strategy to get more people visiting his/her blog, and then you'll get good stats, and in the future others will see your stats and want to rent your blog more.

Dr Hodge sounds like a very interesting man! I'll have to check out his blog. I love pic of the ruins of St Paul's.
:o) Hope you have a great weekend!!!

hi utenzi! i have come across his blog several times while surfing and enjoyed my visits each and every time.

i, too, have wondered about be's taking 10% commission off the imaginary points. (good to know i wasn't the only one - hahaha).

i look on this as an opportunity to give exposure to a blog i enjoy. (i usually really wait till almost expiration hour before choosing the one i like best among all the bidders). this way, i hope my friends get to enjoy his/her writing as well. :)

Hi Utenzi,
I haven't checked out how those "rent a blogs" works but you are doing an excellent job of making his space on your blog interesting.
